CUSTOM ALL RHINESTONE HOODIE

We just finished these two project for an up and coming clothing designer.  We post many designs on our facebook page but what people do not realize is that most of the websites selling rhinestone clothing are actually hiring us to make these products and then these items are sold to the consumer.
We are pleased at some of the work that we are task to accomplish sometimes like the one that is pictured below, we had to cover the inside of a hoodie with rhinestuds which is different from rhinestone but that is another chapter.  We are use to doing rhinestone t-shirts but whatever we are challenged with we will welcome.

In the world of Broke2.com there are rhinestone designs and then there are our rhinestone designs the difference being our work is a little more complicated and takes a little more thought. Some rhinestone companies will provide you with the basic "I love you" or "Weddings" simply wording but what we will provide you with is work done for artist such as Boyz II Men, Jo koy, LMFAO, Flava Flav, nfl players and the list goes on. Rhinestone designs are what we live for.

Useful information about Rhinestones

Everything You Wanted to Know about Rhinestones
What is a Rhinestone?
The word [rhinestone] means "stone of the rhine", because the crystal stones are associated with the rhine region where they were originally created.  [Rhinestones] are a term used for lead crystal which has been precision-cut to resemble a jewel. Today, [rhinestones] are used extensively in fashion to make jewelry, apparel and accessories.
The story of rhinestones began in Austria in the 1890's when Daniel Swarovski invented a machine for cutting crystal with a precision and speed that far surpassed the hand-cutting of local artisans like his father.   It took 9 years to invent the machine, but when he filed the patent, it began a new era in crystals.
What is Swarovski?
Swarovski is the name of the company founded by Daniel Swarovski that still produces the highest quality rhinestone products in the world.  The [rhinestones] produced by the company have a higher lead content and more precise cutting to produce a stone that reflects light at precise angles to produce the greatest reflection. Swarovski crystals are often referred to as Austrian crystals.
Swarovski continues to innovate new processes for improving the brilliance of its rhinestones. In 2004 the company introduced the Xilion cut rhinestone, with 14 alternating facets of different sizes that produce perfect refraction and intense light distribution throughout the crystal.  Only Swarovski rhinestones have this patented cut, the difference in brilliance is clearly visible to the naked eye.
What Other types of [Rhinestones] are there?
Czech, Korean and Acrylic crystals are the most common alternatives. Czech Machine Cut stones are not much less expensive than Swarovski and are not yet available in a 14 facet cut, so why would you bother with them?  The Korean and Acrylic stones are much less expensive than Swarovski, but you get what you pay for. Lesser quality stones are inconsistent in their cut, so they vary greatly in terms of the brilliance of the shine.  Some of these stones are made from cut glass, not crystal lead, so they offer very low light transmission.
Please visit broke2.com for examples of how these stones are used.

HOW TO CARE FOR CLOTHING WITH RHINESTONES

Prepare Your Clothes for Washing
These are only recommendations from broke2.com
Step 1
Turn your garment inside out. If there are any buttons, make sure that they have been buttoned or zipped up.
Step 2
Run a sink full of lukewarm water with some light washing detergent. Try detergent that is used for washing baby clothes. Detergent that is gentle and doesn't have any bleach will work best on your piece of clothing. You can wash the item in your bathroom sink, kitchen sink, or an old washtub.
Step 3
Hand-wash your garment lightly. Do not let it stay in the water for a long period of time.
Step 4
Hang dry your garment on a clothes line. Do not place it in direct sunlight because your clothing will fade and the sunlight will decrease the adhesive that your rhinestone is attached to. You can put the item in the dryer on a light spin cycle or permanent press. Do not leave it in for a long period of time. Your rhinestones could overheat and fall off or melt. Take the item out of the dryer while it is still halfway damp and let it hang dry.
Step 5
Keep your rhinestone garment in a place in your closet where it won't rub against other articles of clothing. You may place a plastic cover over your clothing to keep it safe from dust and to protect the rhinestones. Don't fold the item and put it in a packed drawer of clothes, where the rhinestones could easily be rubbed off or break. Keep the item separate from the rest of your clothes in order to keep it looking nice.
